This Privacy Policy explains how Diacoustic Labs Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”) collects,
uses, and protects information in the Companion app for certified Relationship Companions and Support Coaches.
Companion is part of the Headfone Meet partner ecosystem and helps you manage availability, calls, bookings and interactions.
Information we collect
- Account & identity: Name, email, phone, professional profile details, verification documents, and credentials you provide.
- Availability & scheduling: Calendar settings, session preferences, booking decisions, and session timestamps.
- Calls & communications: In-app call connection metadata (start/end time, duration), recordings when enabled, and support conversations.
- Earnings & payouts: Transaction identifiers, payout preferences, and compliance information required to settle payments. Full card/bank details are handled by secure third-party processors.
- Device & technical: Device model, OS, app version, IP address, coarse location (if permitted), language, and diagnostics to keep the service stable and secure.
- Cookies & similar technologies (on web): Used for authentication, preferences, analytics, and fraud prevention.
How we use information
- Operate and improve Companion so you can manage availability, accept or decline bookings, and run sessions smoothly.
- Connect audio calls securely without sharing personal numbers; enable recordings when required for quality or compliance.
- Provide call management tools, show earnings and reports, and process payouts through trusted providers.
- Send notifications about bookings, schedule changes, payments, and important product updates (you can opt out of non-essential marketing messages).
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or policy violations, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing & disclosure
- Clients on Headfone Meet: Limited profile, availability, and booking decisions are shared with clients who request sessions with you.
- Service providers: Hosting, analytics, communication, payment, and support partners who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
- Compliance & safety: When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users, the public, or the Company.
We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices & controls
- Update certain profile, availability, and notification settings inside the app.
- Request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to legal or compliance retention requirements).
- Manage device permissions such as microphone, notifications, and location from your device settings.
Data retention
We retain data while you maintain an active Companion account and as needed to provide services, meet legal requirements,
resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is completely secure,
so please use strong device security and notify us of any suspected unauthorized access.
Children’s privacy
Companion is intended for adults (18+) who are certified professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
If you believe a minor has provided information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or other
appropriate channels. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
